What skimmer should I get? I have a 54 gal corner with 60 lbs live rock. I currently have a Red Sea prizm skimmer and aqua clear 110 hob filter. The skimmer doesn't work to well and the filter causes alot of microbubbles so in looking to get rid of them. I want to purchase a good skimmer for my aquarium. And if I get a quality skimmer I don't need to run a filter right? The skimmer will also have to be a hob skimmer.

I use a eshoops hob in my sump. I am very happy with it, seems to fill up every day nicely. Octopus makes a hob skimmer and is far superior to eshoops, prices is there too. :-)
