Glass Anemones Problems

Hi all not sure if this is the correct forum but I have a bad out break of I think it's glass Anemones all over my rock and tank. Now I know Peppermint shrimp helps but I have a spotted hawk fish and the last time I added shrimp my boy ate real good. all five were gone in like a min. Is it somthing in my water? I have a RO system. what else can I do to get rid of this stuff. Thanks

Why are glass Anemones bad? I have them in my tank and haven't worried about them. I am new to this so I might be missing something.

This. I had a few and ignored them, pretty soon they were everywhere. I literally had hundreds of them in my tank

Interesting. I have had them in my tank the whole time I have had it, about 12 years. I guess they found a natural balance because they have always been around 2 dozen of them. I have quite a bit of live rock in a 75 gallon tank so that really isn't very many since they are spread all around. They don't bother the coral that I have in there. We will see when I start to add fish back in. When I had fish in it years ago they didn't seem to bother them but how could I tell.
