Glue??

What do you use for glue?? I tried an epoxy putty but it does not seem to do to well, what would be the best glue to use? Also I have managed to get a mat of ??? maybe hair algae growing on the substrate, is this because I have nothing stirring the sand up? Only thing messing around in the sand are the snails. Last question...when sps coral die...do they just turn white?

some people use super glue gel.

super glue gel works well, i get 4 for a dollar. just make sure it's cyano acrylate.

As for your algae, yes, and water parameters. Find out what your nitrates and phosphates are at.

As for the SPS, yes, when they die all that's left over is the skeleton.

trates are 1.0 and phos is not giving me a reading, running chemi pure elite in the can filter, alk is still low at 9 calc is 420 ph is 8.3 ammonia 0 and nitrites showed .001 so I completed a water change and will do another next week, and I guess maybe order up a sand siftin goby.

i use the locktite gel super glue works great for gluing peices of rock together or corals to rock

Thanks all, it appears that super glue gel is the way to go, wish I would have asked before ordering the epoxy putty!
