Goby

I have a goby and I haven't seen it in over 24hrs. I have read that they like to burrow and have noticed there are little burrow holes near my rock. Is it possible he is just hiding out? I have only had him for a couple of days and added more fish the next day.

They're very shy. Especially if you just added him to your tank. You may not see him for a couple days. Just keep an eye out for him and be sure to check the floor around and behind the tank (just in case...).

Yeah I heard they like to jump out of the water. I did have a canopy over my tank but just removed that and installed a Sunpod MH fixture. Yote, I am trying to remeber what kind it was. I picked him up from my my lfs. He looks almost exactly like this. Now that I think about it, I believe that was the name of the goby. I am pretty sure he is still in the tank because my sand has little "moguls" all over the place lol. Thanks :)
