So I was goofing around in the tank earlier today. Messing with the sand. (I have sand issues in case you have seen my other thread) About 3 hours later I noticed my Torch. These look like new heads? Sorry for the picture quality. I'm a bad photographer. I wish I had a picture from earlier today.

So is this new growth or did I stir up something BAD?

New growth (in my experience) starts with the heads shriveling up and then bubbling out.

So it could be that. Or it could be you just brushed up against it. Give it a little time.

Mine occasionally shrink then expand again. Could be that I brushed them, or that they need to poop. I'd give it time and see if they open again. My guess is that they are just shrinking for a bit.

I'm voting for new growth too.
