Reefing newb
Just bought my first LR and it had a little green hair algae on it. I scrubbed it off but I know there's still a little in holes that I couldn't reach. Will my CUC take care of this when I add them?

If your system is lacking of nutrients for it, then it will die off on it's own.

I had so much, picked the long strings off the glass, it only grew on my glass, so my snails took care of the rest of the film algae, but just pick it off, mine has no more hair algae, just not growing again like fastrd said

Well my tank is still cycling. My ammonia level is just now starting to rise. All I have in it is 35lbs ls,13lb lr (for now) and some cheato in my hob fuge. So not really sure about my nutrients.

Yep thats fine, just when the cycle finishes you will be good, once you start picking they wont grow again.
