hair algea

what eats hair algea?? I have hair algea in my 10 gal sump and the sump is in a place that I can't get to it very easy to clean it. none in my main tank just the sump?​

mexican turbo snails, urchins (tuxedo) would be best for 10g not a longspine. i would start with one of those.

it might not be too bad to have the hair algae in there...as long as it's in your sump, it's pulling out nutrients that would grow in your display tank.
