I just changed the rockwork around in my tank and noticed that a lot of the sand bed had about an inch or so layer of sand that hardened almost like concrete. Is that a bad thing and what would have caused that? Thanks
I have no idea what causes that.
Thats why we try to keep animals that will stir the sand bed.Once it gets hard like that,it can effect the biological filtration in your tank.
