Have I missed anything...

No because I haven't needed it since I got the new MH/T5 a year and a half ago. I can't see spending the money to fix it when I'll probably never use it again. It needs a new ballast and it is the second time one went out on it. So if I got if replaced it would probably just do it again. :(
 
I got the 60" fixture. I've hung onto it in case I wanted to use the LED lights in some kind of application someday and because the thing cost almost $4,000. Wow what a loss. Think of how much coral that would buy.
 
that is why I was waiting on my original setups prior to the move to switch to LED.. from what I have read now.. they have become much more reliable.. lets hope so at least.

I am just looking at setting up a 55 gallon system.. so it shouldn't cost too much to light it...
