I am a newbie starting a 14 gal Biocube reef mix and would like advice on how to set up the tank. I also just enjoy talking to others with the same in hobbies

Thanks- this is a test run i have a 75 gal that i hope to convert if I am sucessful. Do you have a BioCUbe?

smaller tanks are cheaper but harder to keep stable the bigger the system the easier it is

I personally dont have a biocube.But I've had to deal with enough problems with em to form some pretty hard oppenions of em.
Set that 75 up.Yeah its more expensive.But it'll be a heck of a lot more forgiving.The parameters will be more stable.And you wont have to deal with burned out ballast,pumps not running,fans squalling or quiting.
Of course this is JMO.
