Just getting started in doing research for a salt water tank. Currently have a freshwater tank with 9 fish and not much else.

Yea, I have been seeing some of those and I got a boot at Half Price to read about it. I'm picking up a 50 gallon tank this weekend and already got a hydrometer and a heater. Thinking doing a few fish and some soft coral. Trying to decide on what type of lighting. Been looking at LED but it seems rather expensive and not that practical so I am not sure yet.
