help with a worm

I noticed this morning had a white looking worm going up the side of the glass. It is white looking. What is this thing and can it be harmful to anything in the aquarium...what do i do to get rid of it, if it not suppose to be in there.

Theres only like 30 million worms you can have show up.However 99.9% of em are safe and actually helpful.I wouldnt worry about it.

There's no way to tell what it is without a picture. Like Yote said, there are tons of different types of worms, and most of them are harmless.
