I have bought a lighting system it is a 4 bulb t5 with LEDs down the middle. My questions is when should the actinic lights be on? always with the daylight or once in a while please help!?..

Most people have the actinics come on an hour before the daylight bulbs, run them all day (with the daylights) and then run them for an hour after the daylights turn off. This sort of mimics sunrise / sunset over your tank - which fish and corals both appriciate

Thanks north star,! I have yet another question can I switch my 24watt bulbs with 80 watts without swapping ballasts?
