Help!

Reefing newb
So yesterday I was telling my wife before work, how excited I was that my tanks water levels were at where they needed to be. When I was at work she called me and told me she had a surprise, when I got home she had a Tomato Clown fish in the tank. ummmm, the problem is my tank is only 4 days old. I gently gave her the hammer aka told her that I was supposed to let the water cycle and I am unclear if this poor fish will make it. I checked on him this morning and he was swimming around. I have clue what to do, can anyone help?

I would take him back the lfs and explain the problem and then ask nicely if they will hold him for you until the tank is done cycling

When you set the tank up,did you use any live rock?
If you did, then the tank may have already cycled.
Just keep a close eye on your ammonia levels. If they start to rise, then you'll need to do something. If they dont, then it should be alright.

GREAT.
Just test for ammonia ever day for a week.I'm betting your tank has already cycled and will be fine.

Hmmm,my wife surprised me ONCE too,about a year ago....never again,had a nice battle with ick ..
I agree with Yote, and besides, clowns are tough little suckers..
