hermits

They're great for clean up. They eat pretty much any food that would normally turn into waste and muck up the water quality. Just make sure they're a reef safe variety and you'll be good....that is if you have a reef setup.

I pulled all of my hermits out because I was sick of them killing all of my snails for their shells

well i only have 2 in my 20g but they seem to be doing a good job always see them eating and moving my sand around. i havent seen them kill any of my snails but i do have alot of empty shells for them

They are great for your tank. Just don't get too many. The number to get goes beyond tank size. You don't want fighting or starvation.

Like in my tank, I don't have much algae growth, not much food lands on the bottom, and I have other types of CUC so I'm currently running a skeleton crew of hermits.
