Hints of green...

if I look closely, I can see that there's hints of green on my rocks here and there. I take it, it could be the next algae coming in?

I take it, it's good algae? Does it have to be controlled or just let it run it's course? Thanks for the link Ryan. I spent a good hour last night reading some of the info off and on.

im dealing with something of the same sort, however i tried to scrub it with a while back with a toothbrush and nothing came off, after reading the article section i found that this was pointless, however, nothing has grown any more. its almost like thats the color of the rock. is that even possible?

i bet it is just because the alage is imbedded in the pores of the rock thats my thought

well with that being said, the rock had that green tint to it when i bought it, so maybe the place that supplied that rock had an algae problem. i dont know, but there isnt a problem with green algae in my tank to say the least.

Its normal for the rocks to have some green color to em.Plus coralline can be green.
