if i end up turning my 20 long into a SW tank id like to make sure i do it right. someone mentioned to me that a 5 or 10 gallon sump would be more than enough filtration and would save me from having to use the fluval 3 plus underwater filter i have or even going with what i think might be called dueling powerheads. can someone direct me to a good article on this or just tell me about these systems please. iv had a hard time finding info on them.
and to set up the scene for you, i plan on taking this SW thing "slowly". i dont plan on jumping straight into a serious reef setup or anything just yet. i might not get to that for a year or two. right now im wanting to start out with just LR, live sand, a clean up crew, and something nice like a black misbar oscelarous clown. and once i start to get the hang of SW maybe move up to (at the most complicated within 2 years from now) a few shrimp, a few corals, and a second clown... maybe even for breeding. nothing too complicated right now.
