How to glue/peg LR together

Is there a particular way that gluing or pegging LR together that works better then the other. I am going to add more LR and i want to have my homework done on ways to keep stacked LR together and in place.

I know you can also use acrylic tie's from Home Depot or wherever. My rocks are just on top of each other so I can't help you with the gluing or pegging.

If you want something really cool looking. You can figure out the shape of the piles that you want. Get a masonry drill bit and drill the hole to make a pvc structure to hold it in place. Then you can get puddy to fill in the spots that you see pvc. You can also ziptie small pieces in place.

what kind of putty is reef safe?

Any epoxy thats safe for pottable water will work.

Dr.foster sells a putty. I think there are plumbers putty that works for less $. Like yote said make sure it is for pottable tanks.

JB Weld makes a water safe epoxy too.

Like others have said, you can get epoxy putty from any hardware store, make sure the label says that it's safe for potable water.

You can use cable ties to secure the rocks in place too.
