I want crabs....

No, actual crabs!

When I was at the store getting my wrasse, I saw some sally lightfoot crabs. Reading their description then coming home I see that they can be aggressive so I held off. Would this crab end up going after my smaller hermits? Don't really have anything else that would be smaller than it other than the hermits.

Also looked at the porcelain crab. I read that these are peaceful. Is there anything I have to worry about it being lunch for? I believe all my fish, either tank, are reef compatible so basically I think I should be able to get one of these. I imagine I couldnt do the sally and the porcelain since the latter would probably get eaten if in the same tank.

When the Sally gets bigger, it'll go after anything including fish. The porcelain crab would do just fine in your tank, and they're really cool when you see them fan out and feed.

Yeah, that's why I didn't get it. I probably will pick up a porcelain or two next time though so that's a plus. Thanks for the reply.

Oh, and porcelains are anemone crabs so if you get them and a nem, there's a chance the nem could host the crab.
