ID Please

I seem to get this stuff on my LR periodically. I am thinking that perhaps I need a bigger CUC? I have 2 snails and 2 hermit crabs right now for a 28g tank.

i would get a bigger cuc. it looks like algae. how much you feed?

The tank is about 3 months.

Also, I only feed once per day and a small amount of flake food. Maybe as much as would cover a dime if it were laid out flat. I only have two fish that eat it. Is that still too much food?

And I added another snail today so we'll see how it goes.

try getting some mysis shrip and get away from the flake food.. flake food usually has phosphates and nitrates in it

Frozen food is a much better choice than flakes. It's really easy to overfeed flakes and they contain preservatives that can lead to algae problems.
