Impossible to catch Help!

Trying to catch a crab. Tried the plastic bottle and he seems content to staying in some rock and never coming out? Any suggestions?

take out the rock he hides in.
put it in clean fresh water. it will come out or die. usually comes out

Thank you. It's hard to get to the rock he's in. I haven't seen him in a week or so. He's somewhere, oh well. Thank you again.
