iodine???????????

today i was at the store and some guy was telling me that he would buy corals that were olmost dead..he would dip them in iodine...they would come back to live...is these true.....do you dip ...or pour it in to the tank...????

You dip, but its only going to save corals that are being attacked by some pest. It wont magically bring their flesh back either. They need to be put in a tank with good water conditions for their growth and survival.

You can dose iodine if you know what you are dosing it for until then just leave it on the shelf at the lfs

if i really want a item at the LFS that is not a living thing then i just take it and run into the bathroom and hide it somewhere in there until next time i come :mrgreen:
