is a 55 standard too tall for a frag tank?

I'm using ecoray 60s. I don't know if its too tall. I'm probably gonna build eggcrate stairs to make different height levels. I wanna make sure I can achieve the flow I need.

I use a 75 for a frag tank using eggcrate for different tiers as well.. everything is doing really well in the tank. actually a plate coral I was having a hard time with in my display I chucked in there the next day was completely puffed up..
