Is it Alive?

Is this coral alive? I got it a longggggg time ago , now hoping that it will survive again so will it survive?

After the tank lights have been off for an hour or so,look at it with a flash light.If you see tentacles then it's alive.

I dont have time to do that but i will make sure i do it on the weekend when i dont have school lol

And , when i first got it the tentacles come outs every so often but now i dont see them no more :/

My theory is, as long as it has some flesh, it's alive...so it looks alive to me.

+1 Yote....but it looks dead to me. It looks like various algaes are begining to grow on it though.

I would just maintain doing frequent water changes. If you dose things, it can very easily throw your whole tank chemistry out of whack.

Did you do as Yote suggested? I think it looks dead. There doesn't seem to be any sign of flesh or anything.

If one polyp is alive it will come back. I had a brain and it died off but a couple polyps survived and now it is making a come back. I am almost ready to set up a coral grag tank for my damaged ones. I've had a number of corals that got real sick bu then came back.

Oh you're not the only one. I'm 13 as well and nano reefer is 15. And Wildheart is 14.

Well turned out the coral ended up not surviving but now there is like 10-15 feather duster on it lol
