is my BTA dying?

this is the first time i have seen it all shrivled up in weeks, and it looks like it is expelling a clear mucus-like substance. any thoughts?

i believe i fed him a silverside that was a little too big for him last night, and a buddy of mine told me that he was just expelling waste, but i wanted some more opinions

i also saw part of what i think is a silverside laying in the sand, and my clean up crew was all over it

Overfeeding an anemone can be just as harmful as underfeeding. In the future you might want to feed him smaller portions.

I NEVER feed my BTA and it looks awesome. I like to let it pick up food in the water column as well as what the clowns feed it. they don't need a ton of food

yeah i wish my clowns would feed it, my clowns seem to be hosting in my toadstool instead
