Is the tank suppose to stink a little?

Hey fish friends!

My tank has that mild smell of what I can only think might be alge or something... is this normal or is it time for a clean?

The tank has had fish in it for about 1.5 weeks.

did you cycle your tank? or have the fish been in it for a week AFTER the cycle?

if its a new tank and you have LR then the LR may just be curing and it does produce some stank,

It was cycled beforehand with a volcanic rock, apparently its neutral PH or something..

Run some carbon (marine w/o phosphates) and some phosband if all stats are ok and nothing is dead
