is water temp ok

Ive noticed that with my nbew lighting the highest my temp has been is 81. My fish and all corals seem to be happy and doing well,.

Is 81 ok? When I put my hand deep in the tank to move or get something the water still feels kind of cool.

81 is fine for the temp.. I keep mine around there all the time.. :D

as long as the temperature is relatively constant, that is a fine temp.

I agree. Stability is key. Keeping your temps at 81 consistently is fine.
