Indeed removing it from the rock would probably kill it. So I left it as it is and its doing fine

Thanks. I never thought it would open in the day time. I saw the feeder tenicles come out late last night. I was feeding the duncan and zoa's some mysis this a.m and I guess the brain smelled the food and the tenicles came right out. So i spot feed him some yummy mysis and he gobbled it all up.
