Live bait shrimp in tank

Hey guys quick question I was looking at some shrimp for sale today at the pet store but they cost around 30$, I was wondering if its ok to add the shrimp that people use as live bait in a aquarium. :bounce:

Since there is no ocean to fish here in PA, I don't know what they use for fishing. We use worms. ;)

If you know the species of shrimp, do some research on it.

Its pretty much the shrimp thats eatable trying to find the type of specie but cant find it on google

Make sure it's not a cold water species.

They sell ghost shrimp around here that looks like the bait shrimp and i put those in my tank, Actually do some cleaning too.

I would very carefully research any shrimp you put in there. A cold water shrimp will boil to death, or they could eat your corals other inverts or go after your fish etc . . .

Well we have ghost and grass shrimp here. I think they are both cold water shrimp.
