Live Rock

Is it possible to have to much live rock. After my 40 gal burst I transferred everything into a 30 so now I have 50-60 lbs in a 30 gal tank.

Rule of thumb is 1-2 lbs per gallon. so you are fine.

thanks I was going to transfer everything back once I fix the 40 gl but now I am thinking 3 tanks is better than 2 right LOL

I don't think so...I have about 100lbs in my 29gal. Like Yote said, the more, the better. Just make sure you have good flow between/behind all the rock.

As Yote said make sure there is plenty of swimming room though.
