looking for a external protein skimmer ? ?

Starting to look for a protein skimmer I setup outside my stand and plum back into my sump ..

Any ideas or experience with this setup would be appreciated. .

Why do you want to plumb outside of your stand?

Reef octopus skimmers are my personal favorite.

I'm so frustrated with my coralife superskimmer 250gl.

I made some changes today , I ran the skimmer outlet pipe to dump in chamber #1 ... if with minor adjustments I can't stop the micro bubbles I'm going to change skimmers ...( I won't be able to see if it make a difference till tomorrow I hope , I have the skimmer shut down , so hopefully the tank clears up... when I went in today the tank was just a cloud...looking closer at it was millions of micro bubbles or else I have millions of copepods)

reason for a remote skimmer..
not enough room in chamber 3 for a in sump skimmer. .

I saw on you tube how a guy had a skimmer next to his stand witch gave him more room in the stand and more options on plumbing. .but his main pump feeding the skimmers wasn't a needle wheel type ..
so that's why I'm asking for information on remote skimmers .
