Low PH

I had a low PH in my tank and I added marine buffer i was instructed to add a table spoon for every 20 gallons so I miixed into some RO water. As soon as I added my 8 table spoons into my 150 gallon tank my large anemone shrunk like I had never seen before. The tip I want to give you guys is to add it in very very slow like a table spoon every hour. Maybe you could add 25% of the dosage ever couple of hours.

What is your pH and what time of day are testing? Because the pH will be lower earlier in the day.

Using any buffer is a poor way to go about raising your pH. The rise you see will only be temporary and it will go back to what it was in a few hours.
What are your water parameters...specifically what you consider as low pH and what is your alk?
