MAG 5 return pump to the tank

Hey guys....need some advice on my new sump return pump.

I have a 1/2" MPT fitting coming off the pump and want to go into plumbing.
My plumbing is based on 1" Flex PVC.....

Any suggestions on the connections?

You could go with a 1/2" MPT to a 3/4 slip then 3/4 to 1".
Thats about all I can think of right off the top of my head.
