mag levels low

if i havnt foobard the test my Mag level is 1024

Amm. 0
nitrate. 0
nitrite. 0
Cal. 450
Mag. 1024

just did a water change a couple days ago

useing seachems reef salt. is it this brand of salt thats lacking the Mag? or is something pulling it out of the water?

In my experience with Sea Chem Reef.Its not really been that low on magnesium.But thats not to say that you didnt get a batch IS low on it.

To bring it up,just use Epsom salts and this calculator Reef Chemistry Calculator
To figure the dosage.

forgot to mention PH was 8.4 ( not important to this issue but figured ild mention it anyway )

thanks for the heads up i did read a different thread about Mag and the use of generic epsom salt. il give it a try.

figured ild post a few particulars about my water levels in case it raised a flag.
