i had a tank with ick and i moved the live and dead rock to a new tank. i dont know if the new tank got ick. is there a way to tell ????:sfish:

ick is ALWAYS in the tank ALWAYS.... just depends on how good your fish immune system is that will depend if it attached to them or not, just make sure your livestock isnt stressed or getting picked on and the parasite wont affect them, only way to make sure ick or any other parasite isnt in the tank is to run a UV sterelizer , but that will also kill good as much as bad

but i read alot and they said that ick is not always in a tank. confused????????

If you haven't already, read those articles. Ich can be completely removed from a tank, it means having all fish present and future being treated in QT before being added to your tank. It also means leaving your display without fish for at least 8 weeks to kill off any Ich currently there.
