Meet Freckles

Ive always wanted one.....so....here she is... Freckles

She ate within an hour of her being in the tank, always a GOOD sign :mrgreen:

They aren't hard to take care of if you get one that doesn't have parasites, and that eats. Unfortunately, many of them come with worms, so it's a must that they be quarantined and treated with antiparasitics before you add them to the tank. And then, their feeding habits are similar to mandarins. So if you can get one eating frozen, it's smooth sailing from there.
 
Idk. Came home the other day and he was on his side breathing hard. All my params checked out.... Left came back an hour later and my emerald crab and Scarlett hermit were dining on my 40 dollar beautiful poor fish....
 
They're such tough fish to keep but, well worth it when you find a good one. Sorry to hear about yours Dana, she was a beauty.
