MegaFlow Sump adjustments

Are there any adjustment I can make to my megaflow besides adding rocks and live sand it. I was told that my water was too yellow and it needed carbon, should i get a carbon bag and put it in my media tray? Thanks a bunch :bounce:

Carbon will take the color out of the water. Make sure you change it out every week to 10 days.

Should I remove my bioballs that came with the megaflow system? What can I replace it with?

You can, and you can replace them with live rock rubble.
I used bioballs in my wet/dry for well over 15 yrs and never had any problems with them.
