Mexican lace rock?

Anyone used this before, don't trust my lfs too much and this was recommended as a sub for dry rock...

i started out and still have this in my tank but it really is not the rock you want. there are a number of sites that have great base rock,like MarcoRocks Aquarium Products google it you really cant go wrong but you want a porus rock
