mole crab

Dont know if this is the correct section...
anyways, about 2 months ago I found what I believe is a mole crab in Florida. I brought it home, and thought it was interesting, so I put it in my refugium. I wasn't sure what it was at that point. Then last week, I was messig around with the sand, and I found it. I had no idea how it survived this long. So are mole crabs good for my tank? Bad?

i personally wouldnt take anything from the ocean and put it in my tank becuase it could have disease, parasites, and other things and you dont even know if its reef safe

Based on what that says (the fact that it's a filter feeder) I would say you could MAYBE put it in your display... I wouldn't risk it, though. Keep it in your fuge. Now that it's been in your tank, you absolutely cannot put it back in the ocean.
