Reefing newb
I wasnt sure which forum to post this on but i am moving two hours away from my current location this weekend and wanted some input on the best way to move my tank (55 gallon) I only have 3 fish in it (Sailfin tang, Clown, Sixline wrasse) My plan was to put everything in five gallon buckets. All this fish in one and all my snail/crabs in another then place the rock and water in the others i have a battery operate bubbler that i can use but im not sure if that will even be necessary. Its also expected to be 100+ that day but i will be driving late afternoon (5 or 6). i plan to put my tank in my truck bed but try and get everything else in the backseat.

There are TONS of threads on here about moving your tank.
Your plan sounds good, but your tank is too small for a Sailfin.

Get a cooler for your livestock to ride in.Buckets aren't insulated and will let the water heat up a lot quicker, reducing the dissolved oxygen levels in it.

My advice would be to either move and set the tank up first,or move and set up last. But either way,get it set back up ASAP and get the livestock back in it.
