Mushroom coral

One of the mushroom stems is so thin that I think it may die, or break off soon. Should I cut this particular shroom or leave it alone?

leave it. if it does break off, it may float around your tank and attach itself to a new rock and start a colony there.

ive had that happen to mine once. ill be fine i never had a shroom die yet

Leave it. They are really hardy and will survive almost anything. I ordered some baby shrooms online a while back. A few of them were so small that they never fully attached and ended up getting "lost" in my tank somewhere. Lo and behold, about six months later I found some of them in completely different places in the tank, attached and happy. I never did find about four of them though :( Too bad, they were really pretty and kind of expensive. But too small for my tank I guess.
