Mushroom relocation

I have a mushroom that came on a piece of deadcoral rock, it is all branchy and what not. What would be the best way to remove the coral from the rock and relocate it?

You could take a sharp razor knife and cut it at the stalk. Then glue it where you need to. The benefit would be that the piece that is left on the dead coral skeleton will grow into a new one.

You could also break the branch that it is on and move that piece where you want it.
