My clowns behavior

Invictus

Reefing newb
Tonight it seems my clowns have been hanging around my powerhead. The powerhead is angled downward and they are swimming toward it, getting pushed back, and going at it again

Is this just them enjoying the flow of powerhead, or could something be wrong?
I thought maybe they are trying to cool off, but my temp is at 78*

....or am I just paranoid :frustrat:

I don't think you're paranoid. My Tangs will sometimes do the same thing with the returns in my tank. I have wondered the same thing too and have come to the conclusion that it is an instinctual act of swimming against the currents.

I have just got my first marine set up and noticed that two of my clowns are doing exactly the same thing. Its the smaller two (males I assume) while the two bigger ones are hanging out in the anemone on the other side of the tank.

I was hoping that they weren't sick, so if they are just playing in the current I am happy.
