hmmmmm interesting looks kinda like a sun coral on roids but i know it isnt

its probably stylophora pistallata or a close relative they are some awesome coral

Stylo's are a nice hardy sps that grows pretty quickly. You will enjoy it.

Nice frag tank. I'm also thinking of setting up a frag tank. How important do you think it is to set up different levels of eggcrate? I was thinking of just using one elevated rake and put live rock underneath.

i think all depend how much light your frag need some one need more light and other don't

yeah lighting varies between corals so its kinda important to be able to set them in different places
