my new lobster

I saw the guy at the LFS and just had to get him. The guy says hes from the Philippines, but i dont know much about him. Does anyone have experience with spiny lobsters?

I've never had one, but the people that have had them rarely see them (maybe once or twice a year). I hope yours comes out more often than that -- most of the time, they stay hidden in the rocks.

Recently my lobster has been using his little claws to take food, so i dont even get my flash of pink anymore lol.

It has skinny "pokers" instead of fat claws?
That looks like a common "blue" lobster from the Philippines.
I am not sure if they are endemic there or just happen to be abundant there.

That's a common seafood there for those who can afford it. They grow BIG!
