I realize 0 is ideal, is there a safe range? My first test read 2 ppm. How do I know which part needs replacing

Most people change it when then it goes above 10, I'd say 2 is just fine

thanks little fish, was doing research while waiting for a response. I tested water straight from faucet and got about 190, 2 much better then that. Thanks for the fast response. Well water if that matters.
