New to saltwater

Hi,

I have had a fresh water aquarium for many years but have always had an interest in saltwater aquariums. I have a 55 gallon empty tank with a Fluval 305 canister filter and a remora protein skimmer. I am looking to learn more before I take the plunge.

Hello and Welcome!!

Keep the canister filter for your freshwater tanks, they dont work very well on saltwater tank. I suggest checking out the article section, lots of great info there! Please ask any questions you have, this isnt a great hobby to jump into without lots of research, glad to see you arent doing that!
