Hi,
I just signed up here. I'm getting back into the hobby after being away from it for a long time. technology has surely changed since then. I'll be setting up a 200 galon plus reef aquarium soon. I'm still in the process of finding a suitable aquarium.
I currently have about 400 lbs. of base rock from my old setup. It didn't use to be all base rock. I guess that's the price you pay for going on hiatus from the hobby.
Right now I'm looking at a used 210 gallon Oceanic with stand and canopy for $750.00 that is currently up and running at the current owner's home with freshwater.
If I decide to go new, I'm looking at Deep Sea Aquatics, which was started by some former employees of Oceanic and Great Lakes aquariums.
I would love to get some feedback on these two products if anyone has any.
Regards,
Don B.
