Are peppermint shrimp territorial? Will they kill each other? I had two of them and one has disappeared.

I've got two and they're BFFs. I don't know if they physically could kill one another.

I had five... and I'm down to one. But that was the trigger's fault. I'm pretty sure they don't fight.

I've got an active pair in my 90 gallon that live in the same area and never show any aggression. Only thing in my tank killing something else is my pistol shrimp that takes out a tiny hermit every couple of weeks if it approaches one of his den entrances.

It's probably still in there, they don't show themselves too much. Try looking for it when your lights have been off for a lil' while.
