pH buffering

my water at nights drops to 80 in the day its up to 81

i usually check around 5-6pm my lights come on at 11am

i think i figured it out, i think its marine velvet my clownfish right now is rapidly brething and sliming up, same symptoms as my other fish that died, ,maybe thats why the my inverts are doing fine. what the hell do i do are all my fish eventually gonna die? is the parasite just jumping from one fish to another, looking for a new host?

Pretty much, there isnt much you can do for them. I would let the tank sit fallow for a couple of months. When you do start putting in new fish, stock slowly and smartly. Stressed fish become sick fish.

I knew from the start of this post there was something else going on... That much doesn't go wrong with "decent" params. The solution isn't always as obvious as what you can test for in your water column. Key is close observation.

Glad you now have a better idea as to what it is.

Unfortunatly the solution is not so simple either. =/
